A Day in LA
I flew to Los Angeles, California, with the delightful pair, Gentry and Keaton, to capture their engagement photos. Rather than the typical snowy Utah backdrop, these two envisioned a warm, oceanside setting for their engagement session. So we headed west to the Pacific coast to soak up the signature California sunshine and salty beach air.
Our day began at the picturesque Bluff Cove in Palos Verdes. This location truly offered the best of both worlds - from breathtaking elevated vistas overlooking the vast ocean to tucked away spots nestled amongst the rocks hugging the crashing waves. The intoxicating sea breeze and remarkable views made it a photographer's dream.
After exploring Bluff Cove, we transitioned to the laid-back charm of Venice Beach for a distinctly different vibe. Gentry and Keaton kicked off their shoes and we captured candid, playful moments of them frolicking in the water and strolling hand-in-hand in the sand, with the iconic Venice pier in the background.
What stood out most were Gentry and Keaton's adventurous spirits and willingness to create a unique experience. They didn't hesitate to pack up multiple outfits, hop on a flight from Utah to LA just for the day, and visit multiple distinct locations - all before catching an evening return flight home. Their genuine affection made photographing them look completely effortless. Needless to say, the flight to LA was worth it!
